A Random Encounter
Kenneth and Pertunia’s story began in 2006 during their middle school years in South Africa. One morning after break, while rushing back to class to avoid a strict teacher, Kenneth saw Pertunia and instinctively held her hand — a moment he describes as “time standing still.” Though Pertunia was confused and quickly pulled away, that single encounter left a lasting impression on Kenneth’s heart. For the next two years, he tried winning her affection despite repeated rejections, holding onto his deep admiration for her.

The Journey Together
Their relationship became official in 2011, and since then, Kenneth and Pertunia have journeyed through life side by side. From university to moving abroad in China, their bond only grew stronger. Today, they are proud CEOs of Galeh International, the company they built together and are married with two beautiful children, Isa and Ano. Their story is a living testimony that love, patience, and faith in God truly conquers all.
(2009–2010)
The Reunion
In 2009, Pertunia moved to another city, and life seemed to separate them. But destiny had other plans. After Kenneth entered university in 2010, he returned home during vacation and met Pertunia again. The spark reignited instantly — Kenneth felt the same awe he had felt years before. One night, after years of persistence, Pertunia finally said “yes,” marking the beginning of their love story. From then on, Kenneth would walk the long road to see her every day until he returned to campus.
